The house's entire visual language is contained in a few symbols, designed by Georges Vuitton in 1896: the interlocking LV initials, the four-petal flower and the four-pointed star. Since then, Louis Vuitton has continually taken them from the canvas to turn them into objects in their own right — buckles, buttons, clasps, and this family of charms that isolates them and brings them into three dimensions. It is the logo stripped of all context: no more luggage, no more canvas, just suspended emblems.

This model plays with three elements and three finishes. A round medallion where the four-pointed star and four petals are openworked in gold-tone metal, filled with a warm rose-gold shade that catches the light. Alongside it, a more understated silver-tone Monogram flower provides balance. Finally, a tassel of fine gold-tone chains, topped with a cap, hangs lower than the rest and moves with every movement. The screw keyring ring and clasp, in gold-tone metal, bear the Louis Vuitton signature engraved in relief.

It is a triple-use accessory. Clipped onto a bag handle, it completely changes its mood; threaded through a belt loop, it can be worn as a waist jewel; used on its own, it serves as a keyring. At 18.5 cm, it has real length — it hangs and stands out, whereas shorter charms remain discreet.

Very good overall condition, grade B+ — micro-scratches from use on the metalwork, consistent with a worn piece, perfectly functional clasp and legible engraving. No major flaws to report; the item is documented in the photos. Sold with its box and RARR Vintage certificate of authenticity.
