Mosaic, creativity, and a convivial moment over drinks.

Alexandra welcomes you to her Parisian creative café to introduce you to the world of mosaics. During this workshop, you will craft your own trivet while enjoying friendly drinks and nibbles.

You start by settling in with a drink and a tapas board, before discovering the essential techniques of mosaic making: choosing your tesserae, using tile nippers, and placing pieces evenly.

You then design your composition, picking from various glass paste and enamel tesserae. Figurative patterns, geometric designs, or complete freestyle: several examples and templates are available to inspire you.

Then it is time to create. You will cut and glue the tesserae one by one to shape your design, guided by Alexandra in your technique and finishing touches.

You complete your creation with the grouting: applying the grout, cleaning, and then polishing the surface to fully reveal your mosaic.

At the end of the workshop, you will leave that very evening with your mosaic trivet handmade by you. A drink and tapas are included in the workshop price, with non-alcoholic and vegetarian options available.
