Philodendron Scandens – Houseplant

Philodendron scandens, also known as the sweetheart plant, is a charming, easy-care houseplant prized for its fresh green, heart-shaped leaves. Thanks to its trailing and climbing growth habit, the Scandens is wonderfully versatile: you can let it trail from a hanging pot, train it up a shelf or climb up a trellis. With its compact delivery height of 15 cm, it is the ideal plant to bring a touch of greenery to small spaces. In addition, this Philodendron purifies the air and is very easy to look after.

The delivery height of these plants is approximately 15 cm (measured from the bottom of the pot to the top of the plant).

Care

Watering: Water once a week. Allow the top layer of potting compost to dry out slightly between waterings. Reduce watering frequency in winter. Location: A bright spot out of direct sunlight is ideal. It also tolerates partial shade, but grows faster and bushier in bright light.

Maintenance: Prune overly long stems to maintain a compact habit and encourage new growth. Fertilise occasionally in spring and summer for optimal growth.

These are living plants subject to transit. A small amount of soil may come loose from the pot during transport. This does not constitute grounds for a refund.

The plant is delivered in a nursery pot. Upon receipt, it should be repotted into a pot approximately 20% larger than the initial nursery pot.
