Zamioculcas zamiifolia, also known as the ZZ plant or Emerald Palm, is an easy-care houseplant. Native to African forests, this plant has a long history and has only been grown indoors since the late 1990s. And we couldn't be happier! Admire its glossy shine! This plant is so undemanding that you can easily forget to water it and place it almost anywhere in the home. A true favourite, this Emerald Palm! Characteristics - Sold individually - Delivery height: 30-40 cm (measured from the bottom of the pot to the top of the plant) - Supplied in a 12 cm pot - Easy to care for Care - Watering: Low water requirements: summer: water once every 2 weeks with 1/3 of the pot volume; winter: water once every 8 to 12 weeks with 1/3 of the pot volume. - Light: Partial shade. Does it tolerate direct sunlight? We recommend placing the plant about 2 to 3 metres from a window, provided it is north-facing (requiring 3 to 5 hours of sunlight per day). - Maintenance: This plant is very easy to care for; regular watering is all it needs.
