Before first use, immerse the dummy in boiling water for 5 minutes, then allow it to cool.

Squeeze the teat to expel any water trapped inside. This is for hygiene reasons.

For subsequent uses, regular cleaning is recommended.

Do not dip the teat in sweet liquids or medication (risk of tooth decay).

For safety and hygiene reasons, replace the dummy after one to two months of use.

In the event that the dummy becomes lodged in the baby's mouth, do not panic: it cannot be swallowed and is designed to cope with such an event. Remove it as gently as possible.
