Our cashmere comes from Mongolia, where Albas goats adapt to extreme temperature fluctuations by developing a fibre of incomparable fineness and softness. This exceptional material, nicknamed "The Fiber Diamond", is renowned as one of the finest natural fibres in the world.

Care instructions

At maison héritage, we carefully select the finest cashmere fibres to create exceptional pieces designed to accompany you for years to come. A few simple steps are all it takes to preserve the softness, volume and delicately brushed appearance of your 100% brushed cashmere creation for years to come.

Hand-wash your piece in cold or lukewarm water (20°C maximum), using a detergent specially formulated for wool or cashmere.
Handle it gently, without rubbing or twisting it, to preserve the fibre’s fineness and natural loft.
Remove excess water by wrapping it in a clean towel and pressing gently, without ever wringing it out.
Dry your piece flat, away from direct sunlight and any source of heat.
Never use a tumble dryer.
Always store your creation folded rather than hanging on a hanger, to preserve its original shape.
Over time, slight pilling may appear. This is a natural phenomenon and a sign of the quality of cashmere fibres. Gently remove pills using a comb specially designed for cashmere.
