The Montorgueil is one of those Louis Vuitton models that leave a mark on those who know them. Its bowling-bag silhouette — rounded, structured, generous — immediately sets it apart from the rectangular bags that dominate the Monogram range. The gold-tone brass « Louis Vuitton Paris » plaque fixed to the front is a rare signature detail found on only a few models from the house. Named after Rue Montorgueil, an iconic street in historic Paris, it was produced in the 2000s before disappearing from the catalogue — making it a sought-after piece for vintage LV enthusiasts today. Made in France in 2009, this example has developed a beautiful light, even caramel Vachetta patina across all its trims — the sign of a bag carefully maintained for fifteen years.
