The cycas, often called the sago palm, is an elegant plant with impressive leaves. Feather-shaped, these are particularly graceful. Depending on the species and growing conditions, they can reach several metres in length. Its trunk is thick and robust, usually straight, but sometimes slightly curved. Native to subtropical regions, the cycas can also thrive at temperatures down to around 10 °C. Although slow-growing, its lush and majestic appearance more than makes up for it.
