The Maranta Silverband is an air-purifying plant belonging to the Marantaceae family. This houseplant is known by various nicknames, including the prayer plant, due to its nocturnal leaf movement. Characteristics - Sold individually - Delivery height: 10-15 cm (measured from the bottom of the pot to the top of the plant) - Supplied in a 12 cm diameter pot - Air-purifying Care - Watering: Low water needs: summer: water with one-third of the pot volume every 2 weeks; winter: water with one-third of the pot volume every 8 to 12 weeks. - Position: Looking for partial shade but cannot tolerate direct sun? In that case, we recommend placing the plant about 2 to 3 metres from a window, provided it is north-facing (3 to 5 hours of sunlight per day are required). - Maintenance: To enjoy my colourful leaves for longer, water me regularly with small amounts of lukewarm water.
