Japanese Maple Dissectum – Outdoor Plant

This slow-growing Japanese maple makes a magnificent addition to your garden. Acer palmatum 'Dissectum' is a hardy shrub. Its leaves, fresh green in summer, take on a superb yellow-orange hue in autumn. In addition to this change of colour, this maple also produces red-purple flowers that later develop into winged seeds. This maple enhances any garden and is easy to care for; we highly recommend it!

Care

- Watering: Under normal conditions, 1 to 2 times a week, and 2 to 3 times a week during periods of high heat, or even daily in cases of extreme drought (using a garden hose or an automatic sprinkler).

- Position: Shade to partial shade (maximum 2 to 4 hours of sunlight per day).

- Maintenance: This maple prefers moist, acidic soil. Prune it as little as possible, as it bleeds sap heavily. It is best to remove damaged branches in November or December.

These are living plants subject to transit. A small amount of soil may come loose from the pot during transport. This does not constitute grounds for a refund.

The plant is delivered in a nursery pot. Upon receipt, it should be repotted into a pot approximately 20% larger than the initial nursery pot.
