The Paraty is one of the bags that defined Chloé's identity in the 2010s. Introduced under the creative direction of Hannah MacGibbon, it embodies the balance between ease and sophistication that the Parisian house has always pursued. Its silhouette is recognisable at first glance: a supple body that gently slouches under its own weight, a front flap creating a play of volumes, and sculpted gold-tone brass links connecting the handles to the body of the bag with an almost jewellery-like allure.

This example is in cognac grained leather, the colour that has made the greatest mark on the model's history. Cognac is a warm, amber shade that deepens with time and use — each cognac Paraty ages differently and develops its own character. The leather is clean and in good condition, with light signs of previous use. There is light rubbing on the corners and a discreet stain underneath the bag, visible in the photos.

The aged-effect gold-tone brass hardware is a deliberate design choice: the patina is not a flaw but an intention of the house, giving the bag its lived-in appearance straight from the workshop. The links, lobster clasps and fastenings feature this warm, matte finish that distinguishes the Paraty from bags with shiny hardware. The bag can be worn three ways — by hand using the handles, on the shoulder or crossbody thanks to the removable strap — and its volume accommodates an iPad, cosmetic bag, continental wallet, phone and glasses case.

Beautiful vintage condition, grade B — clean leather in good condition, light rubbing on the corners, shoulder strap and handles, discreet stain underneath the bag (see photos). The black cotton twill canvas interior is in good condition with light signs of use and no major flaws. The bag will be supplied with a RARR Vintage dust bag and a RARR Vintage certificate of authenticity.
