From what age can my child use this toothbrush?

The MyVariations Kids toothbrush is recommended for children from 3 years old, up to around 12 years old. Beyond that, they can switch straight to the adult model! For a child aged 9–10 and up, it is possible to switch straight to the adult model. For a younger child or a baby, we remind you that dentists recommend baby teeth brushing be carried out by an adult.

Can Kids brush heads be fitted onto adult handles?

The heads are interchangeable between the adult and kids' toothbrushes; however, we don't really recommend it, as kids' toothbrushes are genuinely 100% designed for little ones. The head is different, smaller and truly tailored to children, but the handle is also lighter, smaller, and easier for little hands to hold. 🤗 In addition, the brushing modes of the Kids toothbrush are designed for young children aged 3 and up. Brushing needs to be gentler than for adults: the 2 modes on the Kids brush are even gentler than the “Sensitive” mode on the adult brush. 😉 This truly avoids exposing little ones' gums and teeth to brushing that might be a bit too powerful. Finally, for children aged 9–10 and up, it is also possible to switch straight to the adult brush!

Are brush heads from other brands compatible?

Brush heads sold by other brands are not compatible with the MyVariations toothbrush. MyVariations brush heads are fitted with thousands of DuPont nylon bristles, are specially designed to remove dental plaque, and are recommended by UFSBD dental surgeons.

I have sensitive teeth and gums, can I use the MyVariations toothbrush?

Absolutely! The MyVariations toothbrush is 100% suitable for people with sensitive teeth and gums. The 5 different brushing modes allow everyone to find the one that suits them best. We recommend using the sensitive teeth brushing mode (red colour) to start with. The brush can also be used in cases of gingivitis/periodontitis. Furthermore, if you experience tooth and/or gum sensitivity, the Sensitive toothpaste can also provide relief.

What are the different brushing modes (adult brush)?

The different modes allow every user to find the one that suits them best, thanks to slightly different vibration frequencies and varying bristle movement amplitudes. There are 5 of them:

• White (blue): the most powerful, featuring the highest movement frequency for a more vigorous clean, particularly for people who build up a lot of plaque.
• Clean (green): the “normal” mode, with a medium movement frequency, providing a very effective clean.
• Sensitive (red): slightly less powerful and with the lowest movement frequency, it is especially suitable for people with particularly sensitive gums or teeth; it will be even gentler than the other modes while remaining super effective. 😉
• Polish (flashing blue): helps “smooth” and polish the tooth surface for extra shine by alternating between the two highest movement frequencies; we recommend using it as a finishing touch, in addition to a fixed mode, or occasionally.
• Massage (flashing green): this mode helps stimulate gum circulation and improve blood flow, thereby “strengthening” the bond between tooth and gum to prevent gingivitis, or to prevent receding gums from recurring, for example. 👍

These potent substances found in some toothpaste formulas can damage and wear out the brush heads. MyVariations Kids toothpaste is also available! I feel a tickling sensation during the first few brushings, is this normal?

Yes, absolutely, this is a completely normal sensation. In fact, the sonic technology of our toothbrushes provides ultra-effective brushing without damaging teeth and gums thanks to 40,000 vibrations per minute; your mouth simply needs to get used to this new brushing mode. The tickling sensation disappears after just a few brushings and is quickly replaced by an ultra-clean feeling!

There is a small gap between the handle and the brush head, is this normal?

All toothbrushes have a small gap (a few millimetres) between the handle and the brush head. This is completely normal: this gap is there so that the sonic vibrations of the brush head are not reduced by friction against the toothbrush body.

What is the battery life?

The MyVariations toothbrush is equipped with a super long-lasting battery, offering a 1-month battery life. You can travel with peace of mind! The Kids brush has a battery life of up to 1 month in Soft mode, and around 3 and a half weeks in Pulse mode.

What is the warranty policy?

From what age can the MyVariations toothbrush be used?

How durable are MyVariations toothbrushes and the battery?

The battery in MyVariations toothbrushes has a 1-month battery life (compared to 5 to 14 days for a conventional electric toothbrush). This excellent performance means you only need to recharge the brush once every 30 days, thereby reducing the number and frequency of charges. How do I recharge the toothbrush?

To recharge your MyVariations toothbrush, simply open the small rubber flap located under the brush (using your fingernail or a small flat object) to plug the charging cable into the brush's port. Let the brush charge for 3–4 hours for a full charge, and you're good to go for a month of battery life! Don't forget to close the flap properly after charging to restore the toothbrush's waterproof seal!

Can I use the MyVariations toothbrush in the shower?

Absolutely! MyVariations toothbrushes are waterproof, so you can use them in the shower without any worries. However, take care to close the charging port cover properly to maintain the waterproof seal, and dry them thoroughly after use to prevent any visual deterioration of the toothbrush.
