Reed - 6 Mugs - Earthenware - Reactive Forest Green

This 20 cl mug is sized for a long coffee, tea or a morning cappuccino. Neither too small nor too large, its fluting catches the light and provides a firmer grip. Made from earthenware fired at 1150°C, each piece is coated with a reactive glaze that develops freely in the heat of the kiln and settles into the flutes. The forest green appears deeper in the grooves, while the ridges take on lighter tones, naturally highlighting the texture. No two pieces are exactly alike. REED is defined by its texture: fine vertical flutes run along each piece, giving the surface a regular rhythm, while the inside remains perfectly smooth. The Forest version brings them out in a deep, glossy green, richer in the grooves and lighter on the ridges. A graphic, tactile collection made to be held as well as admired.
