I-GUARD is a
car seat for children from birth to approximately 4 years old
(40-105 cm), compliant with the R129 i-Size standard. Tested under more
stringent conditions than those required by the standard to ensure the highest
level of safety. Reduces frontal impact forces on the head and chest
by 20%*. The seat can be positioned in both directions: forward- and rearward-
facing (FWF and RWF). It features the EASY SPIN 360° system, which not only
ensures the child's safety while driving, but also improves
travel comfort and makes it easier for parents to
secure their child correctly in the seat.
The seat is equipped
with specific safety systems such as H-GUARD SYSTEM and SIDE
PROTECT SYSTEM, which absorb energy in the event of an impact and protect the
vulnerable parts of the child's body, such as the head, neck and
pelvis. The soft, breathable materials do not irritate the skin of
young children, while the wide, deep seat and ventilated shell
allow for long journeys, even in hot weather.
Tested under the
most stringent conditions
Tests show
that I-GUARD reduces frontal impact forces on the head and
chest by up to 20%, even at high speed. The I-GUARD car seat has been tested under
the most stringent conditions. The standard requires seats to be tested
for a frontal impact at 50 km/h, whereas I-GUARD was tested at 64 km/h to
ensure a higher level of safety.
H-GUARD SYSTEM
H-GUARD protects the
most sensitive and delicate parts of your child's body. The reinforced headrest
features 3 layers of memory foam to absorb the
force of impact. The headrest provides excellent protection for the delicate
head and neck area of your child in the event of a side or rear impact.
SIDE PROTECT SYSTEM
The seat shell
is reinforced with special side protectors that absorb the force
of impact in the event of side collisions. They absorb the energy generated
during an accident, thereby protecting the child inside.
Anti-rebound bar
I-GUARD is equipped
with an anti-rebound bar. Thanks to this innovative solution, the structure is
more stable. The seat fits better against the vehicle seat backrest, minimising
play and seat movement after installation, and the child has more
legroom.
EASY SPIN 360°
The EASY
SPIN 360° system makes it easy to secure your child in the seat - the
position-change button is easy to reach and use. Simply
press it and turn the seat to face you. In addition, the
system allows you to quickly change the seat position (RWF and FWF)
without having to remove it.
RECLINING SYSTEM
The
RECLINING function makes it easy to adjust the seat angle with one hand.
The seat has 4 recline positions, giving your child
more space, more comfort and better protection in the event of an accident.
Easy installation
The seat is fitted
using ISOFIX for simple, quick and safe installation. I-GUARD also features
a support leg (11 length adjustment levels) and
4 correct-installation indicators to reduce the risk of incorrect
fitting in the car.
Ventilated shell
The I-GUARD
car seat features a ventilated shell. Special openings
combined with the ventilated seat material effectively wick away moisture in
hot weather.
EASY GROW SYSTEM
I-GUARD is equipped
with the EASY GROW SYSTEM, which allows you to adjust the height of the headrest and
harness with one hand (6 levels). Travel comfort is ensured
by soft, non-irritating materials and a wide,
deep seat.
The seat features
a removable insert for children up to 60 cm tall. It
increases travel comfort, while also reducing the space between the
newborn and the seat. This increases the baby's safety in the event of a collision.
Easy placement
of your child in the seat
The straps of the
5-point harness are padded and feature non-slip strips on the
underside. Hooks on the side of the seat make it easy to secure
the straps when placing your baby in it. I-GUARD is
also equipped with an anti-drop buckle, which makes it even easier to
place your child in the seat.
