From what age can my child use this toothbrush?

The MyVariations Kids toothbrush is recommended for children aged 3 and up, to around 12 years old. Beyond that, they can switch straight to the adult model! For children aged 9–10 and up, it is possible to switch straight to the adult model. For a younger child or a baby, please remember that dentists recommend that baby teeth be brushed by an adult.

Can Kids brush heads be fitted onto adult handles?

The heads are interchangeable between the adult and child brushes; however, we do not really recommend it, as the children's toothbrushes are truly 100% designed for little ones. The head is different, smaller and genuinely adapted to children, but the handle is also lighter, smaller, and easier for small hands to hold. 🤗 In addition, the Kids brush modes are designed for young children aged 3 and up. Brushing needs to be gentler than for adults: the 2 modes on the Kids brush are even gentler than the “Sensitive” mode on the adult brush. 😉 This truly avoids exposing children's gums and teeth to brushing that might be a bit too powerful. Finally, for children aged 9–10 and up, it is also possible to switch straight to the adult brush!

Are brush heads from other brands compatible?

Brush heads sold by other brands are not compatible with the MyVariations toothbrush. MyVariations brush heads are equipped with thousands of DuPont nylon bristles, are specially designed to remove dental plaque, and are recommended by UFSBD dental surgeons.

I have sensitive teeth and gums, can I use the MyVariations toothbrush?

Absolutely! The MyVariations toothbrush is 100% suitable for people with sensitive teeth and gums. The 5 different brushing modes allow everyone to find the one that suits them best. We recommend using the sensitive teeth mode (red colour) to start with. The brush can also be used in cases of gingivitis/periodontitis. Furthermore, for tooth and/or gum sensitivity, the Sensitive toothpaste can also provide relief.

What are the different brushing modes (adult brush)?

The different modes allow each user to find the one that suits them best, thanks to slightly different vibration frequencies and varying bristle movement amplitudes. There are 5 of them:

• White (blue): the most powerful mode, it has the highest movement frequency and provides a slightly more vigorous clean, particularly for people who build up a lot of plaque.
• Clean (green): the “standard” mode, at a medium movement frequency, providing a very effective clean.
• Sensitive (red): slightly less powerful and featuring the lowest movement frequency, it is particularly suitable for people with sensitive gums or teeth; it will be even gentler than the other modes while remaining super effective. 😉

I feel a tickling sensation the first few times I brush, is this normal?

Yes, absolutely, this is a completely normal sensation. Indeed, the sonic technology of our toothbrushes provides ultra-effective brushing without damaging teeth and gums thanks to 40,000 vibrations per minute; your mouth simply needs to get used to this new brushing method. The tickling sensation disappears after just a few brushings and is quickly replaced by an ultra-clean tooth feel!

There is a small gap between the handle and the brush head, is this normal?

All toothbrushes have a small gap (a few millimetres) between the handle and the brush head. This is completely normal: this gap exists so that the sonic vibrations of the brush head are not reduced by friction against the brush handle.

What is the battery life?

From what age is it possible to use the MyVariations toothbrush?

What is the durability of MyVariations brushes and the battery?

Remember to close the flap securely after charging to restore the brush's water resistance!
