The Pochette Métis has become one of Louis Vuitton’s iconic silhouettes. Its design draws on the codes of the satchel: a structured construction, a top handle, an S-lock closure and an interior organisation designed for everyday use. Compact in appearance yet surprisingly functional, it combines the immediate identity of Monogram canvas with a more sophisticated construction than a simple pouch.

This 2016 version features clean, well-preserved Monogram canvas. The Vachetta leather details have developed a lovely even patina, with the natural evolution in colour that gives vintage Louis Vuitton pieces their personality. The overall look remains balanced: the warm brown leather complements the Monogram without obscuring its pattern, while the gold-tone brass hardware retains a strong presence.

The brown suede-lined interior is clean and retains light signs of previous use. Its three-gusset compartment construction makes it easy to separate personal belongings, while the slip pocket at the back adds practical space for items you wish to keep readily accessible. The adjustable shoulder strap, with a total length of 110 cm, allows the Pochette Métis to be worn on the shoulder or crossbody.
