The Noé is one of Louis Vuitton's great classics. Its story began in 1932, when Gaston-Louis Vuitton imagined a bag sturdy enough to carry five bottles of champagne. This very specific purpose gave rise to a silhouette that became iconic: a soft bucket bag, closed with a drawstring and designed to be worn on the shoulder. Nearly a century later, the Noé remains one of the house's most recognisable models.

The MM size offers a particularly successful balance between capacity and ease of wear. Its dimensions of 26 × 26.5 × 18.5 cm retain the generous spirit of the Noé while keeping a silhouette that is easy to wear every day. Its capacity allows you to carry a 13-inch laptop, pouch, cosmetic bag, Kindle or paperback book, diary, phone and compact wallet. Its shoulder strap allows for classic shoulder wear or crossbody wear, although the latter remains quite snug depending on body shape.

This one is made from brown Monogram coated canvas, paired with natural cowhide leather. Over time, the leather has naturally darkened to develop a beautiful even patina, characteristic of vintage Louis Vuitton pieces. The canvas, meanwhile, remains clean and flawless. The contrast between the brown Monogram and patinated leather gives the bag all its character.

The closure system follows the traditional Noé construction: a leather drawstring tightens the bag opening. This one has light rubbing on the drawstring and upper trim. The hardware and rivet also show visible patina, while the base of the bag is slightly marked. These signs of use are consistent with the history and age of the piece and are documented in the photos.
