Description
Inner Circle is a vast collection of tableware, ranging from plates to water jugs, which gives Maarten Baas the impression of being typically human and playful. Each object is the materialisation of imperfect circles that Baas drew by hand. The irregular shapes combine well, making it easy to create an organic composition on the table. 'When a chef prepares a dish, he does so with great care but avoids perfect geometry,' explains Baas. 'There needs to be a certain schwung. I created Inner Circle in the same way.'
