Description

Inner Circle is a vast collection of table objects, from a plate to a water bottle, which makes Maarten Baas seem typically human and playful. Each object is the materialization of imperfect circles that Baas drew by hand. Irregular shapes combine well, making it easy to create an organic composition on the table. 'When a chef prepares a dish, he does it with great care but avoids perfect geometry,' explains Baas. 'There has to be some schwung. I created Inner Circle the same way.
