The Lady Dior has a story of an anecdote turned legend. Launched in 1994 under the name “Chouchou”, it was given by Bernadette Chirac to Lady Diana during an official visit to Paris. The princess immediately made it her everyday bag, the house renamed the model in her honour, and a classic was born from that single gesture. Thirty years later, it has become one of the house's most produced — and most recognisable — bags.

Its visual signature lies in two elements. First, the Cannage: this diamond-quilted pattern, inspired by the Napoleon III chairs that furnished the first Dior salon on Avenue Montaigne, and used by the house since 1947 as a decorative code. It gives the bag its quilted relief and its distinctive way of catching the light. Then there are the letter charms, which hang from the ring of each handle and spell D.I.O.R — a logo turned into jewellery, moving with every step.

The Mini format is now the most sought-after in the line: small enough to wear as an arm accessory, yet structured enough to stand on its own when set down. This version comes in smooth lambskin leather — the most classic Lady Dior leather, supple and soft to the touch — in a colour between dusty pink and brown, warmer and more dressed-up than pure pinks. The hardware is champagne-toned, a softer shade than classic gold that works beautifully with this nuanced colourway. Worth noting: the original protective stickers are still present on the hardware, a sign of a lightly worn bag. The removable 116 cm shoulder strap allows you to switch from hand carry to crossbody. Good overall condition, grade B+ — smooth leather in good condition, corners in good condition, handles in good condition with a light mark inside (documented in photos), protective stickers still present and a clean interior with light signs of use.
