The Kelly clasp, originally designed for the Kelly bag in the 1930s, is one of the most recognisable fastening systems in the history of luxury leather goods: two metal plates joined by a rotating turn-lock and a ring, lockable with a padlock. The Kelly Double Tour bracelet, conceived several decades later, offers a wrist-scale adaptation — the same clasp in miniature, mounted on a calfskin strap that wraps twice around the wrist and fastens with the same palladium-plated turn-lock as the bag. A saddler’s jewel in the house’s purest tradition — Hermès, before becoming a leather goods maker, was a harness maker, and this equestrian heritage is embodied in every detail of the bracelet: hand stitching, leather grain and the strength of the buckle. The smooth calfskin in caramel brown gives this version all its warmth, a timeless and versatile shade that pairs as well with camel as with black.
