Hermès Scarf – Ferronneries
Selection of luxury vintage jewellery - Unique & authentic
Description
Created by Cathy Latham, the Les Ferronneries silk square celebrates the timeless elegance of decorative ironwork and metallic ornaments that have adorned the finest European estates for centuries. First issued in 1970, it was reissued only once, in 1989.
The composition gathers a remarkable collection of intricately crafted locks, keys, latches, knockers, and ironwork motifs, arranged in perfect symmetry around a majestic central element. Every detail reflects the exceptional craftsmanship of the artisans and Hermès' fascination with fine craft and decorative heritage.
This version pairs a deep navy blue background with gold and silver decorations, creating an elegant contrast that enhances the richness of the engravings and architectural details.
A true Maison Hermès classic, Les Ferronneries captivates with its refined aesthetic and timeless charm. An essential design for admirers of silk squares inspired by French heritage and decorative arts.
This silk square is in good condition, with several marks and stains noted. These are visible in the photos and are reflected in the price.
