The Calèche motif belongs to Hermès’ historic visual universe and directly recalls the equestrian world that forms one of the house’s foundations. On vintage enamel jewellery, this vocabulary is rendered in graphic compositions where the design becomes an integral part of the bracelet’s surface. Vintage Calèche enamel models are particularly known for their metal settings and printed decorations.

This piece combines deep black enamel with a silver-tone metal structure, enhanced by a gold Calèche motif. The result is particularly elegant: the black adds depth to the design while the gold details highlight the lines of the motif. The 6 cm diameter falls within the characteristic dimensions of vintage Hermès enamel bangles, notably offered in different diameters around 62, 65 and 70 mm.

The piece bears the Made in Austria inscription accompanied by the +E marking, a characteristic found on vintage Hermès enamel bracelets made in Austria.
