Gucci entered Swiss watchmaking in the early 1970s, establishing its production in La Chaux-de-Fonds. From this meeting of Swiss expertise and Florentine ornamental vocabulary came watches that never quite chose between jewellery and instrument: tiny cases, bangle or link bracelets, geometric lines. The 1900L fully belongs to this family — a steel square set on a rigid bangle, without frills, where all its allure lies in the precision of its proportions.
This model comes in stainless steel, with a pared-back white dial bearing only the house name and the Swiss Made inscription. The 19 mm case is protected by a sapphire crystal, and the engraved case back lists all specifications: Gucci, 1900L, Swiss Made, Stainless Steel, Sapphire Crystal, Water Resistant 3 ATM. The bangle bracelet measures approximately 15.5 cm and fits a wrist up to 16.5 cm. The watch is in working order.
Good overall condition, grade B — steel in good condition with the light micro-scratches from wear typical of a worn piece, clean dial, legible case-back engravings. The whole piece is documented in the photos. Sold with its original Gucci box, a dustbag and the RARR Vintage certificate of authenticity.
