This Givenchy necklace is a true expression of the spectacular glamour of the 1980s. Its imposing heart-shaped pendant combines rippled gold-tone metal with a pavé of clear rhinestones that catches the light with every movement. Through its dimensions and relief, it immediately establishes itself as the centrepiece of a silhouette.

At the centre of the heart, a second openwork motif holds a large sparkling rhinestone. This layered construction gives the pendant an almost architectural effect, while the accumulation of golden and crystalline details accentuates its precious character. The heart, the quintessential romantic motif, takes on a more assertive and theatrical dimension here, perfectly in keeping with the decade’s statement jewellery.

The multi-chain, adjustable from 40 to 49 cm, complements the pendant with an elegant presence without stealing the spotlight. It allows the height of the jewellery to be adjusted according to the neckline and lets this piece be worn just as easily with an evening dress as with a more minimalist silhouette, to which it will instantly bring a touch of vintage glamour.

Good overall condition, grade B — no missing rhinestones. The piece is original Givenchy and bears hallmarks on the back of the pendant and at the end of the chain.
