The Swing Octagon is among the watch models that defined Dior's aesthetic in the 1990s. Its octagonal case — eight crisp facets, eight edges that catch the light differently depending on the angle — is an exercise in miniature architecture. It is a bold geometric design, rarer and more graphic than the usual round or rectangular cases, giving this watch its instantly recognisable identity.

The two-tone bracelet is the other signature of this piece. The twisted links alternate silver-toned steel and gold plating, creating a visual rhythm that gives the bracelet a jewellery-like appearance. The white dial bears the inscriptions “Christian Dior Paris” and “Quartz Swiss Made”, with dot indices and a date window at 6 o'clock. The overall look is clear and refined, with just enough detail never to seem ordinary.

The watch is referenced D48-203, Modèle Déposé, Water Resistant. The bracelet measures 15 cm and fits a wrist up to approximately 15 cm. Four additional links are included with the sale, allowing the length to be extended for a wrist up to approximately 17 cm — a valuable addition, as finding compatible links for these vintage models is often difficult.

Good overall condition, grade B — the watch is in working order. The bracelet has micro-scratches from use, consistent with the age of the piece. No major flaws to report. The watch will be delivered with its 4 additional links, a RARR Vintage protective cushion and a RARR Vintage box.
