This bag draws on the vocabulary of a postal envelope — a V-shaped flap, geometric leather panels that trace the folds of a letter — and applies it to a flat, structured crossbody shape. It is one of the most graphic silhouettes in the vintage Céline catalogue: the flap creates crisp diagonal lines, enhanced by caramel leather trim that outlines every seam. The Céline leather crest, embossed with the coat of arms, sits at the centre of the flap like a wax seal.

The Macadam coated canvas is clean, with no flaws to report. This interlocking-arch pattern on a dark brown background is the most instantly recognisable signature of historic Céline, from before the Hedi Slimane rebrand. The caramel brown leather details — edge trim, flap tab and shoulder strap — have developed a lovely patina over time, that warm golden tone only natural leather acquires through use.

The flat format is designed for discreet, hands-free crossbody wear. The bag opens with a magnetic snap fastening beneath the flap, revealing a main compartment generous enough to hold a mobile phone, compact wallet, passport, keys and lipstick. An interior zipped pocket keeps small items separate. The interior is in good condition with signs of use; there is slight discolouration around the zip inside the pocket, barely visible in use.

Good overall condition, grade B — the canvas is clean and flawless, with rubbing concentrated on the leather trim along the edges, the corners and the shoulder strap, areas naturally exposed on a crossbody bag.
