From what age can my child use this toothbrush?

The MyVariations Kids toothbrush is recommended for children aged 3 to approximately 12 years old. After that, they can switch straight to the adult model! Children aged 9–10 and above can also move directly to the adult model. For younger children or babies, please remember that dentists recommend baby teeth be brushed by an adult.

Can the Kids brush heads be fitted onto the adult handles?

The heads are interchangeable between the adult and kids' toothbrushes; however, we do not really recommend it, as the children's toothbrushes are 100% designed for little ones. The head is different, smaller, and truly tailored to children, but the handle is also lighter, smaller, and easier for little hands to hold. 🤗 In addition, the brushing modes on the Kids brush are designed for young children aged 3 and over. Brushing needs to be gentler than for adults: the 2 modes on the Kids brush are even gentler than the "Sensitive" mode on the adult brush. 😉 This really prevents exposing little ones' teeth and gums to brushing that might be a bit too powerful. Finally, children aged 9–10 and over can move straight to the adult brush!

Are other brands' brush heads compatible?

Brush heads from other brands are not compatible with the MyVariations toothbrush. MyVariations brush heads are fitted with thousands of DuPont nylon bristles, specially designed to remove dental plaque, and are recommended by UFSBD dental surgeons.

I have sensitive teeth and gums, can I use the MyVariations toothbrush?

Absolutely! The MyVariations toothbrush is 100% suitable for people with sensitive teeth and gums. The 5 different brushing modes let everyone find the one that suits them best. We recommend starting with the sensitive teeth mode (red light). The brush can also be used in cases of gingivitis/periodontitis. Furthermore, if you suffer from tooth or gum sensitivity, the Sensitive toothpaste can also provide relief.

What are the different brushing modes (adult toothbrush)?

The different modes allow each user to find the one that suits them best, thanks to slightly different vibration frequencies and varied bristle movement ranges. There are 5 modes:

• White (blue): the most powerful setting, with the highest movement frequency, providing a slightly more vigorous clean—especially for individuals prone to heavy plaque build-up.
• Clean (green): the "standard" mode, running at a medium movement frequency for a very effective clean.
• Sensitive (red): slightly less powerful and operating at the lowest movement frequency, it is especially recommended for individuals with sensitive teeth or gums; it is even gentler than the other modes while remaining super effective. 😉
• Polish (flashing blue): helps "smooth" and polish the surface of your teeth for added shine by alternating between the two highest movement frequencies; we recommend using it as a finishing step, alongside a steady mode, or occasionally.

I feel a tickling sensation the first few times I brush, is this normal?

Yes, absolutely, this is completely normal. The sonic technology in our toothbrushes delivers an ultra-effective clean without damaging teeth and gums thanks to 40,000 vibrations per minute; your mouth simply needs a little time to get used to this new brushing motion. The tickling sensation disappears after just a few uses and is quickly replaced by a fresh, ultra-clean feeling!

There is a small gap between the handle and the brush head, is this normal?

All toothbrushes have a small gap (a few millimetres) between the handle and the brush head. This is completely normal: this gap ensures that the sonic vibrations of the brush head are not dampened by friction against the toothbrush handle.

What is the battery life?

The MyVariations toothbrush features a super long-lasting battery with up to one month of autonomy. You can travel with peace of mind! The Kids toothbrush has a battery life of up to 1 month in Soft mode, and around 3 and a half weeks in Pulse mode.

What is the warranty policy?

From what age can the MyVariations toothbrush be used?

How durable are MyVariations toothbrushes and their batteries?

The battery in MyVariations toothbrushes lasts for one month on a single charge (compared to 5 to 14 days for a standard electric toothbrush). How do I recharge the toothbrush?

To recharge your MyVariations toothbrush, simply open the small rubber flap at the bottom of the handle (using your fingernail or a small flat object) to plug the charging cable into the brush port. Let the toothbrush charge for 3–4 hours for a full charge, and you are good to go for a month of battery life! Do not forget to close the flap securely after charging to restore the toothbrush's water resistance!

Can I use the MyVariations toothbrush in the shower?

Absolutely! MyVariations toothbrushes are waterproof, so you can use them in the shower without any worries. However, take care to close the charging port cover tightly to keep it waterproof, and dry the toothbrush thoroughly after use to avoid any cosmetic wear and tear.
